I've been meaning to make a napkin holder for quite a while now. Heather Bailey has an adorable cupcake tray that inspired me to finally make my own version. I made mine much bigger and used batting inside and quilted it. I wanted to be able to wash it when needed, so there isn't any cardboard inside. This was the first time I've ever used piping so I can see the stitching, but now I know how to make it better next time. I'm happy that I now have someplace to put my napkins.
That is so funny that you made that. I was just on Heather Baily's blog the other day and thought how cute that napkin holder was and thought about making one...great minds think alike. Love the cherry fabric you chose.
